I graduated in 1997 in USJ-R, Cebu City with a degree in Computer Science. We have
no Windows yet in those years of studies until I graduated. So, there was no Google
too. So, I didn’t have the confidence to pursue a career in programming aside from the
fact that there were no much opportunities, I also have no personal computer to play
with, and no knowledge in Windows proprietary language like VB which was a popular
language at that time.

To cut the long story short, I ended up in sales and a desktop publications kind of job.
Until I met SPi in 2004 and in June of 2010, I finally landed to what I have long prayed
and awaited career.

I’m a co-founder of a local Python community group, SugarPy. An active PyCon

advocate for PH and APAC. A co-founder of Startup weekend idea winners, GoHydro
and QGen (Question Generator App).
