There are Seven Characteristics


of Living things
1. Movement:- The process in which a living organism
changes its position or place
2. Respiration: - The process in which glucose reacts
with oxygen to release energy, and carbon dioxide
and water are produced.
3. Sensitivity: - The process in which a living organism
detects or gives response to a stimuli.
4. Growth: - The process in which there is a permanent
increase in the dry mass of a body.
5. Excretion: - The process in which metabolic waste
and other non useful materials is eliminated from a
living organism.
6. Reproduction: - The process in which a living
organism produces offspring of its own kind to keep
life in existence
7. Nutrition: - The process in which a living organism
takes in all nutrients for its proper growth and
development.
