Job Responsibilities
 Analyze equipment, material and manpower resources for a certain activity or area
designated by superior.
 Supervision of pile hacking and pile cap subcontractors.
- Ensures that pile hacking and pile cap works were done complying with approved
shop drawings and construction methodology
- Ensures that pile hacking and pile caps were done within design elevation and
tolerances
 Planification works prior to execution of offshore bored piling works.
 In-charge on simulation the concrete operation for bored pile concreting using
different LCTs.
 Monitoring/supervising of sub-contractor works; offshore bored piling works (barge
setting, driving of permanent steel casing, drilling, base cleaning, rebar cage
installation and concreting), static load testing for sacrificial bored piles (o-cell
testing).
- Ensures that piling barge setting is within tolerance of 5cm of designed pile
location.
- Ensures that driving of casing is within the required elevation and plumbness.
- Ensures that drilling reach the designed pile toe level.
- Ensures that base cleaning and slurry control (continuous sampling of slurry) is
done before and after rebar cage will install.
- Ensures that rebar cage is spliced as per approved shop drawings and installed at
designed elevation.
- Ensures that concrete slump and temperature were checked at jetty and at site
before concrete pouring and let overflow until the concrete seen to be clean.
 Organizing the movement of tugs and barges (piling barge, spoil barge, material
barge for rebar cage, LCTs for concrete operations) thru our marine traffic control
center.
 Monitoring/supervising of rebar cage and steel casing fabrication area.
- Ensures that rebar cage is fabricated as per approved shop drawings (quantity,
diameter and length of bars, welding/tie wire, lifting points, sonic pipes and cage
dimensions).
- Ensures that spliced steel casing was tested by third party before transporting
offshore.

set value/final set criteria as well as the ultimate bearing capacity criteria.
 Ensures that pile defects repairing works were done as per approved construction
methodology/method statements.
 Ensures that all rebar cages, concrete grade, pile roughening location (for spun
piles), shear rings location (for steel piles) were done as per approved drawings and
specifications.
 Documentation of pile driving records, fit-up and welding records, penetration set
