diagonal fold. piece as a template.

fold over. fold to match dots. open and rotate. fold over to crease
and open.

Assembly

after assembling, tuck pointed

open and shape each petal, curling
the tips over a round form like a
pencil.
Lid

To make the box deeper, lengthen the template.


I made the template 2'' longer.
To make the the box narrow enough to fit inside
the lid, narrow the template by 1/16''.
