(NOTICE)
SUBJECT: GRADE ‘C’ STENOGRAPHER LIMITED DEPARTMENTAL COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION,
2017.

Grade ‘C’ Stenographer Limited Departmental Examination was scheduled to be held on

30.07.2017. Two O.A. Nos. 2344/2017 (33 Applicants) and 2531/2017 (35 Applicants) were
filed before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi. The Hon’ble
Tribunal vide its Order dated 20.07.2017 had directed the respondents to allow the
applicants to participate in LDCE 2017 scheduled to be held on 30.07.2017 or any other date,
provisionally, if they are otherwise eligible. However, the result of the applicants shall not be
declared until further orders.

But the aforesaid examination could not be held on 30.07.2017. It is now proposed to
hold the said examination in June, 2019. In order to enable the applicants to appear in the
said examination, they are required to submit their applications through their respective
Offices/Departments immediately. It is observed that applications from only 28 out of 68
applicants (in the two O.As.) have been received in SSC (NR) for appearing in the said

The petitioners at Sl. Nos. 12-33 in O.A. No. 2344/2017 and Sl. No. 18-35 in O.A. No.
2531/2017 are hereby allowed time upto 30.04.2019 to complete the formalities and submit
their applications, complete in all respects, to the Commission through proper channel. The
applications are to be sent to Regional Director (NR) Staff Selection Commission Block No.-
12, 5th Floor, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.

Note: Applications received after 30.04.2019 will

not be entertained under any circumstances.
