Your job and the requirements ​You will be joining a full-on engineering culture in which technology is
the heart of the company. Your role is to actively contribute to this culture and the product as individual
within the teams. There are 18 different (multidisciplinary) teams varying in sizes from 5 to 15 individuals
working very efficiently as small start-ups within the organization. This structure is set-up for Engineers to
be able to work on the entire platform.

• Extensive knowledge (3+ years) in any OO programming language, preferably

Java.
• Together with your team you will be defining the technical roadmap and push for (new) technical
initiatives that improve the robustness (scalability, reliability and agility) of the systems.
• Together with your team you take ownership. There are no Architects, this is a part of your role as
well and together with the team you create/expand requirements, design the solution and make it
happen.
• You preferably have experience in high volume (transactional) product / platform environments.
• Multithreading experience is a plus.
• You enjoy code reviews and creating an environment in which everyone becomes
better.
• You are no fan of long meetings, long approval processes and legacy work – You want to build
the most robust, fastest performing and most reliable platform possible using the latest technology
without unnecessary delays during your work – speed is good!

Must have tech skills: Java8, PostgreSQL, TDD etc. Nice to have skills: Microservices, Cryptography
(Security), Cloud, Multithreading, CI/CD, full stack skills etc.
