In the creation of my Personal Lifelong Learning Plan, I had a hard time on starting to

create one because I don’t know how to begin it. In order to overcome this I first reviewed the
steps on creating a Personal Lifelong Learning Plan in Module 2 about and also reviewed the
seven 21st Century Literacies in Module 1 in order to start my way with creating my PLLP.

Based on the seven 21st Century Literacies, I then evaluate my level of competency
whether if I am strong or weak with the specific literacy. Then the level of competency for each
literacy becomes my guide in coming up with appropriate or attainable activities which helps on
achieving or improving the target literacy.

I also consider the potential barriers and challenges that I will face for my planned
activities especially in terms of resources and time availability.

I also consider the solutions in order to overcome these barriers in order to accomplish
my planned activities.

The various literacies play a very crucial role in this enactment. Arts and Creativity
Literacy will allow us to break out from traditional patterns of thinking and adopt fresh
approaches to intellectual experiences. Eco Literacy will make us understand the principles of
organizing a healthy and productive atmosphere to create a worthwhile learning environment
for students. Cyber Literacy will allow both teachers and students to explore the advancement
of technology but still bounded with the different laws in using it. Financial Literacy will equip
us in the proper use of resources available or at hand. Media Literacy can be of help in building
communication skills which encourages consideration of multiple interpretations of the
different forms of communication such as television, radio, newspapers and other media.
Social/Emotional Literacy avers good intention in promoting values to students and upholding
both the student and the teacher’s emotional stability by demonstrating positive outlook to
encourage students to perform well in class. Globalization & Multicultural Literacy will be of
great help in the promotion of cross-cultural understanding.

It will never be easy to succeed in these target endeavors but through appropriate
evaluation and application of actions, and with the support of the school administration and
teachers of Talisayan National High School (Senior High School), these target goals will soon be
given light.
