“Kill Him, Manny”

-Joe S. Antonio (2019)

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, the Pambansang kamao of the Philippines is ready

to fight at age 40. According to Pacman, he can still fight and win his battle against
Adrien Broner. And the social media went buzzing as he successfully defended his
World Boxing Association welterweight title with a unanimous decision victory over
Adrien Broner. 40 year old and still winning- and in a dominant fashion, If you’re a hater,
you are just that a hater, Manny proved to his fans and the whole nation that age is just
a number and it will never hinder someone from wanting and achieving his life goals.

Although questions about the things he can do at 40 never stopped being raised
when in the company of sportswriters, he simply answered them “Forty is just a number.
It doesn’t matter that I’m 40. I feel young. Tomorrow, I will prove that at 40, I can still be
at my best,” he said. And that only proves how determined he is to defend his tit5le.
Surely, There is nothing we can’t do so long as we believe we can do it.

That is a very great example for everyone, especially those who are already at
age 40’s, who wants to do something different in their lives. Surely Manny Pacman
Pacquiao is not only a boxer but he is our Pambansang Kamao who is determine to win
for his family, title and his country.

“The Benefits of the Cardio Kickboxing Workout”

-Claire Riley, B.S.

Basic kickboxing exercises is the one of the best exercise routines that would
definitely help one to be fit. It gives you the right exercise that your body needs in order to
cope up with the tiredness of your day. I tried viewing some of its videos and some are quite
challenging but I know that it will give me a nice stamina once I have tried it to do after a
couple of d Kickboxing is great exercise for no doubt.

Kickboxing is great for improving body composition and some might say it’s great for
weight loss. Personally, I don’t promote “weight loss” because I don’t think it sends the right
message about health goals. Ultimately, if you want to lose weight, what you really want to
do is improve your body composition – to increase your muscle mass and decrease your fat
mass

As a student who is currently studying the basics of kickboxing, it would be nice if I

can perform lots of routines and be able to free myself from cardio illnesses (prevention is
better than cure) like what the article is talking about.

Kickboxing is great exercise, no doubt.
