Evidence: The happiness advantage

Shawn Achor considers that happiness is the key to success and states that if
you can find a way to get your brain positive; your success rate will increase.

Taking into account Achor’s statement, share an anecdote where you describe
a story that shaped your personal view about success and happiness. Use the
anecdote template from the study material. Also, make sure you use the past
perfect, at least eight adjectives from the introductory material, and the time
expressions you have practiced in this learning activity.

ANECDOTE ABOUT SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS:

OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL

I’ve got a good story, it’s about the guardian angel, who has been taking care of
us even before we were born and will always take care, no matter how much
we get old.

Jhon’s mom only had one eye. he hated her for that, she cooked for students to
support the family.
There was one day during the elementary school where she mom came to john
just to say hello but he was so embarrassed, he ignored her, threw her a hateful
look and ran out. Jhon just wanted his mom to disappear, Before that he
studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.

After ten years he got married, bought a house and had two kids, then one day,
his Mother came to visit him, when she stood by the door, the children laughed
at her, and jhon yelled at her for coming over uninvited. When he screamed at
her, ‘How dare you come to my house and scare my children!’ Get Out Of Here!
Now!’, she disappeared out of sight.

One day, a letter came to Jhon’s house. This is the letter; can you imagine this?

My loved son,

I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared
your children. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when
you were growing up.

You see when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your
eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with
one eye. So I gave you mine.
I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in
my place, with that eye.
