School Rules Poster

Selection Criteria
Choice of WOW Words
The poster includes a variety of WOW words.
The WOW words are used appropriately and make sense in the
sentence.
If you need some help, refer to your Wordle that you created in
Lesson One.

Use of Colour
The poster uses colour to add effect and make an impact on the
reader.
The use of colour is appropriate. Think back to the colours that are
commonly used on the rules that you have seen throughout the
WebQuest.

Inclusion of Interesting Punctuation

When writing the rules, include some punctuation to make the rules
interesting and effective to read.
Think about:
-Making some of the words bold or BIG using capital letters.
-Don't just use full stops. Think about exclamation marks.
-Use line and shape to add interest to the words.

Effective Layout
Keep your poster simple. If a poster has too much on it, the reader
can become confused. Think about including:
-A clear, eye catching title to describe what the poster is about
-Using dot points or numbers to order the rules
-Space out the words and poster elements into sections so it is easy
to read.
