Indica 2000 Installation Manual

To install Indica 2000 on your PC, follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Load the CD. The CD runs automatically as soon as it is inserted into the driver. If it does not run
automatically, double click on the setup file provided on the CD.
2. You would be greeted by the Indica installer’s first screen asking you to accept the license
agreement. Click on ‘I accept the terms and conditions’ and then click on the ‘I Agree’ button.

3. The next screen allows you to either install only the Hindi fonts and the keyboard or install
keyboards and fonts for all languages. Select the desired option and click on ‘Next’.

4. The next screen asks you the name of the folder where you would want Indica to be Installed.
Type the name of the folder and click on ‘Next’.
 5. As soon as you click on the ‘Next’, the installer would start copying the files to your system. Once
it is done, you would informed about the same with a message as shown below. Click on ‘OK’.

6. Now click on the ‘Finish’ button. You’ve successfully installed Indica on your system.
7. Now click on the ‘Fonts’ folder on the Windows task bar and close it.
8. Restart the system.

INSTALLATION Guide Lines: Error Massages

"Indica" Template in Microsoft Word for (Devanagari) Hindi
1. This template will be installed if you select the Devanagari option of Installer
2. “The Requested Member of the collections does not exist”.
Ensure Macro option is enabled. Otherwise application will the above error massage and F12
toggle key / Indica template will not function.
3. “Overwrite the Normal.dot”.
Select ‘NO’ if the above message appears.
4. “Please start the word application”.
Start the Word application manually.

Uninstalling Indica 2000.

1. Before you uninstall Indica 2000, be sure that you restart the machine and all applications and
documents are closed.
2. Click on the ‘Start’ menu.
3. Click on ‘Programs’
4. Click on the ‘Indica 2000’ menu item.
5. Select ‘Uninstall Indica’.
6. The uninstaller would uninstall Indica 2000 and would notify you about the same
7. Alternatively, you can also uninstall Indica 2000 from the ‘Control Panel’. For more information
about uninstalling applications from the Control Panel, refer to the Windows documentation.
