Using Indica with Alternate forms in conjuncts

Using Indica with conjuncts in Devanagari , just follow the simple steps in
different keyboards.

Phonetic keyboard
Press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+H to activate Phonetic keyboard. To form conjuncts, you must type
the character + Link key (D) + character. To get alternate forms you must type the character and
then the ALT key (Shift B)
e.g. Ú + ÷ G+ Û = h
e.g. Ú + ÷G + Alt Û = Ú÷˜Û
e.g. â + Alt = K

Remington keyboard
Press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+H to activate Compset keyboard. The procedure to form conjuncts is
the same for the Compset keyboard but the Link key is located at a different place. It is at
Backquote (`). The ALT Key in the Compset keyboard is at Shift Backquote(`) or Tilde (~) key.
To get alternate forms you must type the character and then the ALT key (~)
e.g. Ú + ÷ G+ Û = h
e.g. Ú + ÷G + Alt Û = Ú÷˜Û
e.g. â + Alt = K

CAG Remington (Compset) keyboard


Press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+H to activate Compset keyboard. The procedure to form conjuncts is
the same for the Compset keyboard but the Link key is located at a different place. It is at Shift
Plus (+). The ALT Key in the CAG Remington keyboard is at Shift Dash (-). To get alternate
forms you must type the character and then the ALT key (-)
e.g. Ú + ÷ G+ Û = h
e.g. Ú + ÷G + Alt Û = Ú÷˜Û
e.g. â + Alt = K
