We would love to host you at The Southern! For private dining in the the heart
of downtown Nashville, look no further than our Demonbreun Room.With
space for up to 60 seated or 75 for a standing cocktail reception. The
Demonbreun Room is the ideal space for a private dinner, brunch, business
meeting, or cocktail reception. For smaller groups, we’re happy to divide the
room into two sections, which can be reserved separately with different capacities
and minimums (see page 3).

*Please Note: A signed contract and credit card information is required at the time of booking
to reserve the space. If the party is canceled within fourteen (14) days of the event, a
cancellation fee of 30% of the required minimum may be charged to the card on file.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT A/V EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE AT THE SOUTHERN?
The Demonbreun Room Side B has a 60-inch flat screen TV with VGA and HDMI hookups
for your laptop. Side A and Side B have separate audio controls, and we also offer a Bose
Soundstick PA system (microphone + speaker + subwoofer), LCD projector, and 6ft screen for
private dining guests. Our A/V Fee is $50.

CAN MY PARTY ORDER OFF OF THE REGULAR MENU?


Private dining guests with a guest count of 20 or less may order from the regular dining menu.
Parties with a guest count of 21 or more will be required to choose a Prix Fixe Menu Option,
but we’ll work with you to design a menu that fits your needs!

WHAT IF I DON’T REACH THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUM?


IS IT FLEXIBLE?
If your party does not reach the food and beverage minimum, the difference will be billed as a
‘Room Fee.’ Due to the limited space and high demand for private dining rooms at The
Southern Steak and Oyster, our food and beverage minimums are not flexible.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?**


The Southern Steak and Oyster offers complimentary valet service during brunch, lunch, and
dinner service for all of our dining guests, in addition to validated self parking in the Pinnacle
Garage for up to 3 hours. On downtown event nights, the Pinnacle Garage charges a flat rate to
enter the garage.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE GROUPS IN THE MAIN DINING


ROOM?
Large party reservation availability in the main dining room is extremely limited. We can
accommodate parties of up to 20 guest on the main floor; however, we cannot guarantee parties
larger than 8 guests will be seated together or near each other in the dining room. The only way
to ensure your group will be seated together is by booking our private dining room. If you are
interested in booking a main floor reservation please e-mail
reservations@thesouthernnashville.com.

ADDITIONAL FEES?
•The Southern Steak and Oyster charges a $20 per 750ml bottle corkage fee for any outside
wine brought into the restaurant for guests.

•Guests may not bring in bottles on our wine list.


•The Southern charges a $20 outside dessert fee for guests who bring in their own dessert.
