Okefenokee Toastmasters are always thrilled to
have visitors observe their meetings. Joseph James,
Catering Manager at Hog N Bones in Waycross,
was our special guest at a recent meeting and even
participated in Table Topics. At that meeting,
Toastmaster Linda Titus was voted Best Speaker.
Her speech project was “The Roast” from the Special
Occasions manual. She chose to poke fun at fellow
Toastmaster Wayne Caffarel in a good-natured way.
Her challenge was to present witty anecdotes about
Wayne in 3 to 5 minutes. Toastmaster Orrie
McCrea was voted Best Speech Evaluator for his
helpful feedback on the roast. New member DeVonn
Smith was voted Best Table Topics Speaker.
