Reflection on Lesson Plan 1

During my teaching practice I have done four lesson plans. My first

lesson plan was about subtract like fraction. I have noticed some
advantages and disadvantages in my lesson that affect me as a teacher
and my learners.
On one hand, there were some pros during my lesson. First I
explained in detail and successful, the students were interacting with me
in the explanation , second benefit me a lot that the different ability in
the group when there is a weak student in the group he asks the student
who is higher level and this was easy for me because there is no
interruption in the middle of the lesson, At the end of the lesson I did a
short exam to know if the students received the information correctly or
wrongly, which impressed me that all the students their grades were
high and I feel proud.
On another hand, I had one issue during my lesson, which is the
group activity. In fact, I applied group activity and did not work with me,
because the students relied on one person in the group to do the whole
job alone and the rest of the students did not do anything. moreover,
some of the students they did not like hand activity the said for me that
we are not children. However, next time when I will implement a group
activity I will select the writing activities such as solve the questions.
