(SBUFA\) and Sitio Atan Vegetable Growers Association Inc. (SAVGA\ were organized and registered at Securities and Exchange Commission composed of fifty-three (63) and thirly (80) members respectively and bonafide residents of Brgy. Runruno, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya. These associations are being assisted by FCF Minerals Corporation through the provision of capital assistance for their identified livelihood project such as vegetable production from the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of the company. Taro processing was proposed as a new livelihood of the two (2) CBO’s. This is in support of product value chain of the association. We have searched from the intemet that the Baguinge Rural Home Makers Association-Alabama Rural Improvement Club (BRHMA-Alabama RIC) is processing taro into chips, taro choco cream, taro nut cookies and others. And was awarded by DA awarded with a Plaque of Recognition for having high marks in the area of organizational management, economic activities and performance and community service. In connection hereof, may we request your good office in allowing us to conduct cross visit at the processing center and have a briefing regarding the operation, process and facilities of association on taro processing. Likewise to benchmark the good practices and processing technologies adopted by (BRHMA- Alabama RIC) and other best practices of the association in terms of organizational management.
