This year’s Graduation and Moving Up theme, “Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for all”, implies the importance of unity among the key players in achieving the Department of Education's goal: Education for all. Our school leaders, teachers, parents, community leaders, policy makers, and students, have the greater responsibility to create a culture of oneness and to work each other for the application of the acquired competencies in preparation to the next levels of their career path and fulfill their dreams Which they want to be in the future. To the graduates and completers education is basically considered our “great equalizer”. Innumerable stories about youth in poverty have successfully reached greater heights because of education. Education indeed is an undeniable shield in promoting tolerance and mutual understanding in our global society. Always remember that we can only achieve peace and harmony if we practice understanding and acceptance in the midst of complexities of life. Apply the things you learned in school especially in dealing with your peers and other people. Another school year has ended and your graduates and completers are manifestations of the services you have rendered to our people. | believe most of you became an instrument in shaping the life of our learners for you are not only tasked to build buildings but most importantly you are trained to build people who will serve as partners in transforming our country in near future.
