Est. 1928, New York, New York

The New York Combat Revue: Star Division was one of many “Combat Revue” located
across the world, similar to the Imperial Assault Force in Tokyo or the Paris Assault Force in
well... Paris. The New York Combat Revue is committed to combating the Demonic Forces
centralized on a large urban center.

The New York Combat Revue: Star Division, is based in a broadway style theater called
the “Littlelip Theater” owned and operated by the Star Division Commander, Michael Sunnyside,
an billionaire with a love for all things Japanese, the reasoning for basing themselves in a
Theater is the belief of all Combat Revues, that not only must they defeat demons, but inspire
hope to the people through song and dance. This is a constant found in every single Combat
Revue worldwide.

In early 1928, newly graduated from Tokyo's Military Academy, Shinjiro Taiga is looking
forward to joining the Imperial Assault Force in Tokyo, operated by his Uncle Ichiro Ogami, who
is acting Commander. However Ichiro has different plans, upon arrival Ichiro tells Shinjiro that
he will not be joining the Imperial Assault force but rather the New York Combat Revue
overseas, they are a new Assault Force and are green and Ichiro believes his nephew has what
it takes to inspire them and become a great leader. However... he is the only one that thinks
so... After his transfer to America, all the current members of the New York Combat Revue, (I
will now abbreviate that to the NYCR) I.E. Cheiron Archer, Subaru Kujo, Captain Ratchet Altair,
Commander Michael Sunnyside, and the 2 navigators Cherry and Anri all show blatant
disinterest in Shinjiro stating things like “We were expecting Ichiro himself to be here, not some
kid”.

This discourages Shinjiro but doesn't defeat him, he commits to helping in any way that
he can until the Sirens blare and a Demon Attack happens, he is called by Ratchet and
instructed to come to the theater and despite the protests of Cheiron and Subaru, he is allowed
to enter his S.T.A.R (Super Telekinetic Assault Robot) for the first time. During the battle
Ratchet's deteriorating health causes her S.T.A.R to power off resulting in a direct hit from the
Demon Ranmaru. Shinjiro despite protocol abandons his S.T.A.R to go rescue Ratchet in a
great feat of heroism. This inspiring moment convinces Ratchet to allow Shinjiro to lead the
team in her stead which leads to the first defeat of Ranmaru at the Statue of Liberty.

Impressed with his initiative Sunnyside informs Shinjiro he will now become the
Captain-In-Training. Cheiron and Subaru are still unconvinced but Shinjiro insists he will earn
his place. Ratchet however no longer has the natural Pneuma (Life Energy) required to pilot her
S.T.A.R so she retires from the Star Division and becomes the Vice-Commander assisting
Sunnyside in tactical overview.
 Shinjiro throughout the course of the month has an ongoing battle with Cheiron who
challenges Shinjiro at every foothold. Shinjiro realizes Cheiron isnt acting like herself betraying
her hometown of Harlem and abandoning her old friends by assisting in a redevelopment
contract with a company called Steam Frontier. Despite knowing Cheiron as a skilled Lawyer,
Shinjiro goes 1 on 1 with Cheiron in a court Case trying to disuade her an the people of Harlem
that Steam Frontier has no interest in helping Harlem at all, he eventually breaks through to
Cheiron only for it to be revealed Steam Frontier was the pawn of the Demon Kokuryu, an
assosciate of Ranmaru. Kokuryu covers the city of Harlem in a dangerous Storm and Star
Division set out to defeat her and restore peace to Harlem, this was the turning point where she
realizes Shinjiro actually has what it takes to be Captain.

In the next Chapter Shinjiro encounters Rosarita Aries, a young bounty hunter showing
great skill with a gun, Sunnyside insists she would be a great addition to the team and she joins
up, however after failing to beat Dokurobo another Demon associated with Ranmaru, she
disappears from the team, leaving Shinjiro to track her down, and discover her fear of failure
that led to her father drowning in a river back in Mexico. Shinjiro pushes her through her fear of
failure and convinces her that she can still make a difference, the next time Dokurobo attacks,
Shinjiro, Cheiron, and Subaru are all defeated leaving Rosita to face Dokurobo 1 on 1 where
she unleashes her true power defeating him once and for all.

The next Chapter, Shinjiro meets Diana, a young doctor who is wheelchair bound and
diagnosed with a disease that technology just cant cure, she has succumbed to her fate and
lives in depression just waiting for the end. Shinjiro is determined to show Diana there is life yet
to be had and Sunnyside reveals Diana to be his Niece and asks her to join the Star Division.
She reluctantly agrees but everyone is concerned about the wheelchair situation. Yumedono
another demon aiding Ranmaru appears and begins using insects to control the minds of birds
to attack people, Diana still succumbed to her depression refuses to help despite everyone else
begging her too. Subaru convinces Shinjiro its no use helping someone who doesnt want to be
helped and they go on without her. It wasnt until soon after where Shinjiro confronts Diana in the
yard of her home that she sees a bird that she thought would die, and stands up from her
wheelchair in order to catch it from falling from the sky. Shinjiro is amazed by this and Diana
tells Shinjiro that she would like to help fight, together Shinjiro helps Diana defeat her inner
demons and they vanquish Yumedono.

In the next chapter Subaru retreats into herself falling back on her old habits of
superiority. Ratchet reveals to Shinjiro that Subaru is an ACTUAL genius and that even as her
captain she was never able to break through her boundaries. Shinjiro insists he can and goes
after her. Subaru mocks Rosita for her flawed dancing on stage and Shinjiro confronts her, this
leads to a 1 on 1 battle between Shinjiro and Subaru where if Shinjiro won, Subaru would need
to apologize but if Subaru won, Shinjiro would take her place on stage. Subaru defeats Shinjiro
leading to him taking her place, in the final battle against Tsugarubi a demon who began turning
women to stone, the NYCR confront him on a cruise liner where all the women besides Subaru
get turned into stone leading to the two of them having to defeat Tsugarubi together to restore
their friends, this moment humbles Subaru making her realize she cant always do things on her
own and finally recognizes Shinjiro as the Captain.

Finally in this chapter, Shinjiro and Gemini work together to quell her sister who up until
now has been revealed to be this masked Swordswoman. Sunnyside reveals this sister is a
fallacy and really its an alternate personality, and Gemini has Multiple Personality Disorder, he
suggests electro-shock therapy but Shinjiro is determined to find another way, he battles Gemini
on the bridge as her alternate self and defeats her causing her to reveal her motions are to kill
Ranmaru who killed her samurai master back when she was younger. Shinjiro and Gemini join
the NYCR who is attacking the Theater itself!, they defeat Ranmaru together and Gemini goes
to cut off Ranmaru's head but instead sheathes her blade saying she doesnt need revenge.

Ranmaru, who is still licking her wounds from the previous battle, retreats to her hideout
knowing despite the efforts of the NYCR has completed her master plan of awakening her
master Oda Nobunaga and the Seventh Heaven, the ritual commences the day after Christmas
causing a giant Castle to appear in the Sky and a giant meteor to be heading towards New
York, a meteor that if collided would merge the demon world and the human world together.
Sunnyside doesnt believe its possible to defeat Nobunaga at this point and admits that all his
actions up until now were purely to STOP this from happening. He reveals the only way to stop
him now would be to sacrifice one of the Star Division with the 5 ring Mandala. Shinjiro and the
others talk it over and firmly deny to do so and insist they will defeat Nobunage the old fashion
way. They storm his sky palace and are all separated where they must all fight their inhabitions
again in the form of a Shadow Version of themselves. Cheiron fights a version of her that only
cares about the Law, Rosita fights her fear of failure, Diana fights her fear of death, Subaru
fights the version of her that believes shes a superior being, and Gemini fights her alternate
persona yet again. Shinjiro not knowing how to cope without his friends succumbs to his own
inner demons. The gang each defeat their other selves and regroup only to find Shinjiro
possessed by Nobunaga and are instructed they will either kill him or be killed by him. Together
the gang band together and snap Shinjiro out of his trance and they combine their power to
defeat Nobunaga.
