Here are some tips for your successful interview.

It may be a bit long but there are some unique characteristics in the screening process
of Japanese companies so we hope this helps.

========
■Why do you want to join the company?
It is not enough to explain why you want to join the company at the moment as the
reason for applying.
You need to have an idea of which (what kind of) department do you want to join, what
kind of job you want to do, and what kind of outcome you want to achieve, for example,
3 years after joining the company.
*It is important to focus not only on the point of joining the company, but also the future.

■What type of characteristics are welcomed?

-Has global mindset
-Active and self-organized
-Strong under pressure and stress

■What can you express in “Self PR (self-promotion)”?

-Something you have been working for a long time and got a good habit of action from
-Experience which improved your communication skills through relationships with
others
-Experience which increased your knowledge and expanded your outlook by thorough
input and unparalleled action

■Tips when talking about the experiences in your student life

Try to show specific and concrete episodes with proper names and precise numbers, so
that the interviewer is able to image your experience clearly.

Companies are looking to hire someone who can contribute to the development of their
companies.
The same goes for all the companies in the world.
In order to pass the screening of Japanese companies, do not think only in a
self-centered manner, but try to think from the company side or society side of view as
well.
Make sure to talk, keeping in mind not just what you want to talk, but also what they
want to hear.

For the reason why you want to work in Japan, it is not enough just to say “Because I
want to live in Japan and work with my Japanese language skills”, because it is a
statement only from your viewpoint.
The important point is to talk in the viewpoint of "Why you chose Japan" and "Why you
want to work globally" with your vision of the contribution to the society. For example, "I
want to start my first career abroad, because I have a goal to become a person who can
contribute to the globalization of my home country. From that viewpoint, considering my
advantage in Japanese skills, I strongly want to work in Japan." This is a good one.

Taking the above points into consideration, please fully be prepared for your interview
by clarifying your reason to apply, reason to choose the particular industry, and what
kind of job you want to do after joining the company.
