P/ Gr numbers are extracted from the ASME SEC IX.

For SA 182 Gr T11 & SA 213 Gr F11 (P # is 4 and Group # is 1)

Table UCS-56 will give the nominal thickness at which PWHT is mandatory. Also guides about the
exemptions from the PWHT on special conditions.
UW-40 will give us the nominal thickness based upon application and type of joint in number of
different ways.
UW-2 gives us the service based PWHT requirement. If UW-2 recommends the service based PWHT
whether the thickness is equal/ below/ greater than the nominal thickness, PWHT is mandatory.
