Mathematical analysis I: Objective: Familiarity with vector spaces, linear applications, vectors and eigen
values, recognition and use of geometrical objects characterized by algebraic equations. Programme:

Linear algebra, analytical and differential geometry: Objective: The consolidation of mathematical

the idea of linearity, the recognition and the use of geometric objects characterized by linear and quadratic
algebraic equations, operations with free vectors related to the geometric notions of orthogonality,

Computer Programming and programming languages I: Objective: Learning a programming language,


ways for implementing algorithms using a programming language and familiarity with various IT tools;

English for professional communication I: Objective: Development of the students’ oral and written
comprehension and production skills in the English Language; Programme: Writing short documents;

Materials science and engineering: Objective: The study of the structure and properties of metallic
materials and correlation between structure – properties – chemical composition – processing – applications,
in order to choose the best materials for specified applications, from technological and exploitation
perspective; Programme: Introduction in materials science and engineering; Clasification; Properties;
Applications; Metallical materials structure and methods of structure analysis; Stable state representation of
metallic materials by phase equilibrium diagrams, The study of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Plastical

Human ecology: Objective: Understanding the relationship between society and environment issues: the
problem of overpopulation, global warming, energy consumption, biodiversity, pollution, consumerism, etc.

production and consumption of energy; The issue of vital resources: water, air, soil; The problem of global

Computer programming and programming languages II: Objective: The first part of the course presents
the work with files and sorting and searching algorithms, including using recursion in Pascal environment;
Part two introduces web programming HTML, SQL and PHP languages and examples of static and dynamic

Physics: Objective: Learning of fundamental laws of physics in order to address the study of other
disciplines. Student skills development to address the study of physical phenomena. Programme:
Mechanical Elements: the laws of mechanics, conservation laws. Simple harmonic motion, damped and
maintained. Mechanical waves uni-dimensional and three-dimensional. Acoustics. Thermodynamics: The
first principle of thermodynamics, the second principle of thermodynamics, the third principle of
thermodynamics, entropy, characteristic functions, applications. Phase transformations. Elements of
statistical physics. Electricity: electrostatics, dielectrics, electric current, magnetism, electromagnetic
induction.

English for professional communication II: Objective: Acquiring and developing the students’ skills
needed in order to learn their specialized subject, the ability to understand and produce a written text in
specialized English; Programme: Farm Machinery; IT Technology and Equipment; The Environment 1;

Mechanical engineering I: Objective: Gaining the theoretic knowledge of mechanic technology, necessary
for a good orientation when choosing the fabric and the shape of a piece, the method and the procedure of
processing, binding and nondestructive control, for given parameters of stressing and functioning of the part
or the assembly. Programme: The materials used in the construction of machines. Choosing the best material
to make a piece. Obtaining the parts and semi-finished by molding. Welding of metallic materials.
Particularities of welding processes. Welding procedure pasting. Unconventional methods for materials
processing. Processing of non-metallic materials. Processing of composite materials. The control of quality a
product.

SECOND YEAR OF STUDY

Special mathematics: Objective: The ability to generalize and apply mathematical properties of a more
general nature to solve new problems. Achieving a spirit of understanding formations in rigorous intellectual
discipline studied. Programme: The body of complex numbers. Form algebraic, trigonometric, exponential
complex numbers. Riemann sphere. Sequences and series of complex numbers. Complex power series. Ray
disc and convergence.

Mechanics II: Objective: The course introduces and makes students familiar with the fundamental notions,
principles and methods of the technical mechanics. Students will gain the ability to model real mechanical
systems, by means of the simplified concepts of material point and rigid body; Programme: Kinematics of
the absolute motion of a material point. Kinematics of the absolute motion of a rigid body. Kinematics of the
relative motion of a material point. Dynamics of the absolute motion of a material point. General theorems
and fundamental quantities of the dynamics in the case of a material point. Dynamics of the relative motion
of a material point.

Strength of materials I: Objective: To deliver to the student basic knowledge from mechanics of
deformable body, necessary for the approach of technical problems; to obtain general knowledge on
strength, stiffness and stability calculations of mechanical structures in order to design reliable structures;
Program: Efforts, stresses, strains, displacements; Differential relations between efforts; diagrams of efforts;
Stresses and strains in traction-compression; Stresses and strains in shafts and springs loaded in torsion;
Calculus of the geometric characteristics of plane surfaces; Stresses and strains in bending.

Infographics: Objective: Familiarity with the basics of three-dimensional modeling. Modeling assemblies
of parts, automatic and semiautomatic development of technical drawings, execution. Programme: Basics in
computer aided modeling; Parametric modeling functions commonly used in parts; Elements of technical
drawing: customizing format; Operations views, details, drawings overall development.

Numerical methods: Objective: Developing the skills needed to deal quickly and optimal technical
problems, especially in cases where the mathematical formulation turns out to be complicated. Programme:
Basic concepts; Errors; Numerical matrix; Solving linear equations; Solving systems of nonlinear equations;
Ordinary differential equations Numerical derivation and integration.

Environmental chemistry: Objective: Explaining and interpreting environmental vector-specific processes


using graphical tools and theoretical concepts. Programme: Environmental Chemistry place between
environmental sciences; Correlation between the structure of atoms and the physicochemical properties of
substances; Photochemistry and electrochemistry elements; Atmospheric chemistry.

Radiation sources and protection techniques: Objective: Achieving basic knowledge about the
radioactivity phenomenon, types of radiation sources that may affect the environment, how they are
monitored and measured and protection techniques. Programme: Elements of nucleus theory. Nuclear
interactions. Radioactive transformations undergone by nuclei with protons excess, nuclei with neutrons
excess and heavy nuclei. Law of radioactive transformations. Defining dosimetry units: absorbed dose,
equivalent dose, and effective dose.

Mechanics III: Objective: This discipline allows students to understand and learn the process of real
dynamic phenomena modeling, their mathematical formulation, solution finding and interpreting results;
Programme: Moments of inertia. General theorems of dynamics of material points systems and rigid body.
Dynamics of a rigid body rotating about a fixed axis. Collisions. Elements of analytical mechanics. The
principle of virtual work D’Alembert principle. Lagrange equations.

Strength of materials II: Objective: To deliver to the student basic knowledge from mechanics of
deformable body, necessary for the approach of technical problems; to obtain general knowledge on
strength, stiffness and stability calculations of mechanical structures in order to design reliable structures;

Economics: Objective: It is planned to acquire the fundamentals of economic theory, the concepts of cost,
revenue and benefit of economic activity as the macroeconomic imbalance concepts that influence the
national economy, but also acts on economic activity at the micro level. Programme: Introduction to
Economics; Consumer theory; Theory producer; Market supply and demand. Competition; Costs of
production; Revenue inputs; Macroeconomic results. Income, consumption and investment; Money Market;
Capital market; Macroeconomic imbalances.

Electrical engineering: Objective: Acquiring knowledge based on size, laws and regimes electromagnetic
field; Knowledge of methods for studying circuits; Knowledge of methods for the study of AC circuits;
Programme: Elements of electrostatics; DC circuit; AC circuit; Elements of electrodynamics; Three-phase
circuits; the electrical transformer; Asynchronous machine; Synchronous machine.

Technical thermodynamics: Objective: Presentation and understanding basic concepts; How can it be
possible to save and reduce environment pollution in conversion processes; Programme: Basic Concepts in
Technical Thermodynamics / thermotechnics; The technical approach of the principle of conservation of
mass and principle I, II of Thermodynamics; The study of combustion processes; Heat transfer processes.

Basic of ecology: Objective: The course gives students an ecological perspective on industrial activity, that
wayt he nature inspired intervention must consider the interdependence of all natural systems; Programme:
Fundamentals of General Ecology biocenosis, systems theory applied ecology, agricultural ecosystems,
population ecology, circuits biogeochemical, description environmental factors, material and energy
resources, waste products antroposfera.

Environment protection: Objective: Knowing the main systems to mitigate the effects of pollution and
environmental protection facilities and equipment. Programme: The terminology used in environmental
protection; European programs and projects for environmental protection; Air Quality Protection; Catalytic
methods, absorption and adsorption to reduce air pollution; Protection of surface; Protection from noise and
vibration; Protection from radioactive contamination.

THIRD YEAR OF STUDY

Fluids mechanics: Objective: It aims to develop students' abilities to think and solve problems applied in
the spirit of the theory taught in class and to make connections with other disciplines of engineering fluid
mechanics, to familiarize students with the basic principles and how to apply them to solve various technical
problems; Programme: Fluids and their properties; Fluid Statics; Kinematics of fluids; Perfect fluid
dynamics; Laminar viscous fluid dynamics in motion; Dimensional analysis and similarity theory; Viscous
fluid dynamics in turbulent motion; Permanent movements in pressurized piping systems; Technical
Applications of fluid mechanics; Hydraulic machines: general concepts.

Electronics: Objective: Providing specialized training in the field of electronic devices and circuits and their
applications and also the acquisition of basic knowledge in automation; Programme: Semiconductor
components and electronic devices. Analog electronic circuits. Power electronic circuits. Converters a.c.-d.c.
Inverter circuits. Static contactors, frequency converters, variable power supply - applications in electrical
installations of agricultural machines. Amplifier circuits, operational amplifiers and specific applications
Logic and digital circuits. Logic algebra and minimization with Karnaugh diagrams. Elementary logic
circuits. Complex combinational circuits and digital circuits and applications. Fundamentals of automation.

Economic analysis: Objective: It is envisaged acquisition of concepts allowing future graduates a firm

revenues and financial results that involve any economic activity, especially one held in the natural

Mechanicals engineering II: Objective: obtaining necessary information, functional knowledge,


technological and training skills to design mechanical components of machinery, for sustainable
development and maintenance of water, air and soil ecological, consideration of the mode of transmission
power flow, causes shut down, by defining input parameters and by deducting the output size; Programme:
Introduction. Objective discipline. Mechanical transmission. Types of transmissions (with flexible elements,

Experimental research foundation: Objective: Acquiring skills on the processing, representation and
analysis of data obtained experimentally; Programme: The concept of measurement. Chains and methods of
measurement; Sunlight-readable principles and general characterization of the main types of transducers;
Circuitry for connecting transducers; Measuring lengths and surfaces; Measurement of displacements and

Technical acoustic: Objective: Understanding and learning some fundamental concepts of technical
acoustics in order to apply the appropriate problem solving algorithms and learning also basic techniques of
acoustical accurate measurements and acoustic signal processing; Programme: Elastic medium and elastic
waves, characteristic physical quantities of propagation phenomena of waves, characteristic physical
quantities of oscillated motion of particles belonging to the medium in which the waves propagate. Energy

General microbiology: Objective: learning basic knowledge in microbiology field, learning of morpho-

Fluid power: Objective: Applying concepts, theories and methods of investigation in the field of study for

on hydraulics and pneumatic; Transforming the mechanical energy into hydraulic energy; Rotating hydraulic
and pneumatic machinery; Hydraulic and pneumatic dispensers; Hydraulic and pneumatic valves and

Transport Systems: Objective: Knowing the main transport systems used in agriculture, food industry and

Biotechnical systems analysis: Objective: Presentation of basic concepts, the main types of biotechnical

Transfer phenomena and unit operations: Objective: Acquiring fundamental knowledge on unit
operations of momentum transfer, heat transfer, mass transfer, calculation, construction and operation of
process equipment where these unit operations are conducted; Programme: Operations and processes for
producing finished products; Operation and mixing equipment; Operation and sedimentation equipment;

Decontamination systems: Objective:Acquiring fundamental knowledge on pollution and remediation of


environmental factors environmental considerations in its entirety. Programme: General issues relating to
water quality and protect its natural; The water cycle in cities; Remediation of urban wastewater; Plant and
equipment for mechanical wastewater treatment; Installation and equipment for biological treatment of

Microorganisms with industrial importance. Specific definition of the terms. Industrial culture media:
composition, conditions to be fulfilled. Industrial processes of sterilization of culture media, utilities and
special equipment. Fermentative processes – terminology, definitions, kinetics of the biochemical reaction.
Factors that affect fermentative processes. Constructive types of bioreactors. Methods and equipment for the

problems caused by industrial activities, to learn the legislative efforts made to date by the competent
authorities in the field to stop "offensive" man against nature, taking regard to the explanation of laws and

Actuation systems of machines and installations: Objective: Skills training for operation at maximum
