Reference for Frances Holland

I am writing this reference at the request of Frances Holland who is applying for a Family and Consumer
Science teaching position at your school.

I have known Frances for the past two semesters in my capacity as a Family and Consumer Science teacher
at Woodland Junior High of Fayetteville, Arkansas School District. The fall semester of 2019, I was
delighted when she was assigned to my department to complete her University of Arkansas observation
hours. She observed and volunteered approximately twenty-five hours during the fall term for the
purpose of becoming acquainted with the students and procedures at a different school other than her
appointed internship facility. Frances always arrived professionally dressed which communicated to the
students that she took her job seriously. In addition, she had a pleasant disposition that the students
responded to in a positive manner.

Frances has a number of strengths to offer as a staff member of a school, especially at the Junior High
level. She always displayed genuine enthusiasm for assisting with activities regardless of the task. She is
very efficient at seeing a job completed from start to finish. Her smile and kind attitude immediately set
her apart as an accepted member of the class that the students enjoyed interacting with when she visited.
