ABSTRACT

Travel agencies are one of the first organizations to move toward joining the online scene.
Information technology has changed this industry in a way that travelers can now plan, reserve and
purchase their ideal trips in a fraction of time and money used by traditional methods. Tourism can
be counted as the most preferred pass time when people get free time. Several travel organizations
are available on the web. The people or the tourist selects their own Travel Package according to
their personal interest. The travel companies focus on the interest associated with tourist making
sure to increase their particular market value and supply tremendous package deals. So that they can
make their Travel Package more efficient. Nowadays the Recommender system is becoming very
famous and people are getting attracted to it, as it is helping them to choose the best package in a
short time. The tourism industry has grown substantially in Bangladesh during the last few years,
and especially some rural destinations have become more widespread. This development does not
only present economic opportunities, but also potential threats to local cultures and the fragile
environment. Recent tourism trends in Bangladesh show that current practices and future tourism
development have to take into account the environmental, social, cultural and economic aspects in a
balanced approach to ensure that tourism will benefit the local people and the environment in the
long term. Unplanned or poorly planned tourism activity can eventually degrade the natural
environment and create conflicts with local people, decreasing the quality of life in the local
community and undermining the basis of tourism. Tourism planning and development should be
done in harmony with the local inhabitants, and the cultural and natural resources. Online travel
guide and tour management system is already quite popular in Bangladesh and it is only increasing.
Compared to other countries of the world, this came at a later stage in our country but it grew very
quickly.
