Location of community service: Washington middle school Boys and Girls Club

With whom did you work during your community service?

I worked with kids during my community service

Why did you choose this community service activity (or activities)?

I chose this community service activity because i like to help others and i want to work on my
communication soft skill and helping out at the Boys and Girls club can help me with that.

What did you learn about the organization, company, or business during your participation?

I learned that they are like a little family there at the Boys and Girls club and you are in a safe
zone when you are there. Also the staff there are very trustworthy and they can help you with
any problems you are having.

How does your community service connect to any of the following: your career interests,
personal interests, academic achievement, and targeted soft skills?

My community service connects with my targeted soft skill which is communication. It helped
me with communication because i had to communicate with kids to help them with homework
and communicate with the staff members to know what they need help with and what they need
me to do.
