Collaboration Projects (c Projects)

Collaboration Projects (cProjects) is a cross-industry tool that uses to plan and monitor
development and consultant projects.
Success of project is depending upon range of factors like availability of resources,
budget, time etc.
cProjects mostly useful for Consulting and Development projects. With cproject we can
achieve quick development and high quality new product. This can be achieved by
precise planning and constantly checking progress of Project. So, if there is any
deviation from plan can be recognized and improve early. The phase oriented process is
support by cProject.
While working in project we need collaboration between different employee activities
which may be working from different work location. Seamless collaboration is required
for business especially if we are working on development of New Project.
Now a day’s team working across the global and information is more comprehensive
than before.
To meet the high demands of complex development and consulting projects, we require
planning solutions that support progressive project management methods and thereby
reducing the project duration and improving quality.

cProject covers a whole range of project manager activities from planning, through to
execution right to the end of the project. cProjects integrates cFolders so that you can
exchange documents with external partners.

The graphic. Basic Structure of cProjects shows the individual elements of a project
in cProjects. Projects in cProjects are structured based on phases. The basic concept is
that one phase is processed after the other, whereby there are fixed transitions between
phases. Within phases, checklists ensure that no major components of the phase are
overlooked. The tasks of a phase describe the activities to be carried out. They thus
form the basis for resource planning in the project.
The tasks of a phase are not only the basis for scheduling, they are also part of project
resource planning in the project. Tasks describe the requirements in detail. The actual
resources are the internal and external employees. They are assigned to the project by
means of roles. Here, a role generally describes an activity and its scope in the project.
Roles are filled by employees and assigned to tasks. In cProjects, cost planning can
be based on resource planning.

There are many project elements that can use to support your particular method:
. Project definition
. Phase
. Checklist
. Checklist item
. Task
. Subtask
. Project role

Project Definition
The project element at the highest hierarchy level of a project is defined as a project
definition. Creating a project definition is the first step for creating a project.
In cProjects, there is no project without a project definition.

Phases
Phases are on the second hierarchy level of a project in cProjects. Phases are sections
of a project that are completed within a certain time. They are thus used for structuring
the project from a time aspect.
Checklists
Checklists are lists of items that must be completed. They ensure that all important
aspects of a project or a phase are taken into account. Therefore, checklists are usually
assigned to phases and are usually in the third hierarchy level of a project. You can
assign several checklists to a phase.

Checklist Items
Checklist items are the items in a checklist. Checklist items are important requirements
that have to be met in order to achieve the project goal. People involved in the project
check them off as soon as they have been completed. Checklist items are usually
assigned at the fourth hierarchy level of a project.
Tasks
Tasks are used to enter and structure the required processing steps when a project is
being implemented. Task can also determine time dependencies. we can use the time assignment
of tasks to describe the sequence for processing the tasks. In this way, several tasks can be set up
in a network-like structure. The assignment of tasks is the basis for scheduling the tasks. A
separate tab page for tasks describes these
assignments.

Subtasks
Subtasks can be used just like tasks to enter and structure required processing steps
when you are implementing a project. However, subtasks are subordinates of a task.
Work that is planned in the subtask is additive to the work of the superior task.
cProject advantages
1. Flexible project structuring by phases with stage gates, tasks, checklists
2. Collaborative work on tasks with external partners using cFolders
3. Connection with Business object via link
4. Integration with FICO and other module
5. Resource planning based upon availability and skill
