Dear Mr. Kollmann:

As a student of merced high, I am reaching the end of the four years of high school. These passed
years were great due to your staff I’ve learned and got helped so much so, I want to give thanks
to the teachers I had over the years.

I started with being a shy person but now I have the confidence to talk with my classmate I
would never talk to anyone or get participate however, I still get terrified of presenting in front of
the class. The only club that I was involved with culinary club it’s a club that prepares and
delivers pizzas, sandwiches, and salads to teachers on campus. I’m glad that I was part of a great
club, I’ve learned how to hand food I think without those skills I would burn anything that I
made. At first my thoughts about Merced High were not lovely I wanted to go to Golden Valley
because my aunt when there.

Once, I came here that quickly changed because the students and teachers have so much pride
they made me want to stand up a scream Merced High. Now at every rally I sing the song in my
mind or sometime out loud, yes all high schools are great but Merced is amazing. I will come
back to visit.
