IMPORTANT NOTICE

The KVS Examination for the post of PGT scheduled on 23.12.2018 at Centre No. 42307
(GYANDEEP ENGLISH SCHOOL, LAMAHI, VARANASI UP.) had to be cancelled due to the
reported wrong distribution of the PGT Test Booklets in Session I.

As per the report received from the External Observers (appointed at this Centre) and based on
the report of the CBSE Incharge at Varanasi and Centre Superintendent of Centre No 42307, a
mistake was committed in distribution of the test booklets at this centre. Considering the future
of the candidates and based on their demand made to the Officers present at the centre
including the Varanasi District Administration Officer (Assistant Commissioner Mr. Gaurav, IAS,
Mr. Anil Kumar,IPS, SP) the examination for the PGT Session I was called off. The officers on
the spot made their attempt to convince the candidates to allow the smooth conduct of the
second session for which some of the candidates did not agree and demanded that both
sessions be called off. Since, at all other centres, examinations were going on smoothly, a
decision of calling off the Session I and Session II Exam at Centre No 42307 was taken in the
interest of the justice to the candidates.

The news being spread by any unscrupulous element that the Booklets of 2nd Session was
distributed by the Centre is untrue and misleading. The massive examination running into two
days and six sessions were conducted across the country with all its sanctity under strict
monitoring of the external observers, City Coordinators and the CBSE representatives.

A decision by the KVS and the CBSE Authorities has already been taken to reconduct the
examination at Centre No 42307 at Varanasi on 30.12.2018 (Sunday) for Session I (PGT) and
session II (TGT) at the same time, session and venue in the interest of the justice to the
candidates.

Candidates have been sent individual mails intimating them the date of reconduct of the
examination.

This notice may please be carefully noted by all concerned so as to not to get misguided by any
rumours or so.
