A. NO VERB (TIDAK ADA KATA KERJA)

Patterns/ pola:

“be”: WAS untuk he, she, it, I

WERE untuk they, we, you

Ada dua macam VERB 2 (kata kerja bentuk kedua)

1. Regular verbs (kata kerja beraturan)  penambahan akhiran –d/ -ed

like – liked
play – played
cook - cooked

2. Irregular verbs (kata kerja tidak beraturan)  mempunyai bentuk sendiri

eat - ate
go - went
drink - drank

examples : 1). Mereka minum segelas susu kemarin.

2). Saya memasak nasi goreng baru saja.
