hành động đã xảy ra và đã kết thúc trong quá khứ (thì quá khứ đơn)
• Quy tắc thêm ed:
- Từ đã có e, chỉ thêm d
- Từ tận cùng là y mà trước y là nguyên âm u, e, o, a, i thì giữ nguyên,
phụ âm thì đổi thành i thêm ed
- Từ có 1 tiếng, tận cùng là phụ âm + nguyên âm + phụ âm thì nhân đôi
phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm ed

Grammar rule:

động đã xảy ra và đã kết thúc trong quá khứ (thì quá khứ đơn)
• Quy tắc thêm ed:
- Từ đã có e, chỉ thêm d
- Từ tận cùng là y mà trước y là nguyên âm u, e, o, a, i thì giữ nguyên, phụ
âm thì đổi thành i thêm ed
- Từ có 1 tiếng, tận cùng là phụ âm + nguyên âm + phụ âm thì nhân đôi phụ
âm cuối trước khi thêm ed
Tuy nhiên, có một số động từ không thể thêm ed đằng sau để tạo ra nghĩa
“đã” mà sẽ có dạng quá khứ riêng; được gọi là động từ bất quy tắc.
