    Using Your Free Waves Presets

    Download the Presets


    1. Download the zip file.

    2. Create a “Free Presets” folder within your shared Waves folder: 


    Mac HD > Users > Shared > Waves > Free Presets

    My Computer > Users > Public > Waves Audio > Free Presets

    3. Unzip the downloaded file to the “Free Presets” folder.

    Use the Presets


    1. Open a Waves plugin on your DAW.

    (Make sure that the plugin has a free preset.)

    2. Click on the “WaveSystem” toolbar at the top of the plugin GUI.

    3. Select “Open Preset File...” and navigate to “Free Presets” to load the preset.

    Save the Presets


    Once a preset is loaded, you can save it to the preset menu: 


    1. Click on the “WaveSystem” toolbar and choose “Put Into Preset Menu As...”

    2. Type in the preset name and press “OK.”

    3. Any saved preset will be available under “User Presets” in the Load menu.
