This has reference to the prevalent confusion with regard to activities being undertaken under the guidance of what is claimed to be the “Light Form” of Bhagawan. It may be pertinent to all of us to refer to the Cautionary Note issued in November 2014, by Sri. V Srinivasan, All India President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation and Member, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. This Cautionary Note was forwarded to SSSIHL by Sri. K Chakravarthi, Member Secretary, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, for circulation to all faculty members and staff of the Institute. Please find furnished below an extract from the Cautionary Note: During the past few months, members of the SSSSO and devotees have been confronted with developments in connection with formation of some new Trusts by some individuals who were formerly devotees proximate to Bhagawan Baba and the observance of events connected with Bhagawan's Mission at Muddenahalli, quite apart ‘from the celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam. To clear any confusion with regard to these developments and to make clear our position in these matters, this note is being issued. A note on “Excerpts from Bhagawoan's Divine Discourses” on His not having any successor and the Heart to Heart relationship that He has with His devotees, with clear dates of these discourses, is also enclosed. 1. The SSSSO and the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust have no connection with Trusts like the Sri Sathya Sai Saraswathi Trust or Institutions like the Hospital started under the name of Bhagawan at Raipur, Chhatisgarh 2. In keeping with Bhagawan's own Discourses, we do not subscribe to the concept of Bhagawan appearing in a “Light Body” visible only to certain individuals nor do wwe accept the concept of His delivering discourses audible only to certain individuals and their interpretations of the same for the benefit of others. No member of the SSSSO should have any connection with these Trusts and Institutions/Organisations started by them. Excerpts from Bhagawan’s Divine Discourses as mentioned in the above extract are also enclosed. The above mentioned Note clearly states the position of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation and all other Institutions established and functioning under the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. Itnaturally follows that Alumni of the Institute who wish to be associated with Bhagawan’s Mission and activities undertaken under the aegis of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, need necessarily adhere to this position, We pray to our Beloved Bhagawan for His continued Grace and Blessings, so that we may engage ourselves ceaselessly in His work.
