It is of great honor to write this letter recommending Emily Chavez in her desire to pursue higher
education. I have known Emily since August of 2018 and I was able to see the great charisma
and personality she possesses as a very outgoing person.
I have was able to see Emily’s effort in my math class as she managed to do her best in my class
and all her other classes as well. Emily is a trustworthy individual, she is ambitious, funny,
patient, and caring. Emily was able to balance her academic work by also being part o a club on
campus known as Desire to Inspire. Apart from her acamedics, Emily also managed to be part of
the soccer team at El Capitan high school for 3 years. Emily also had the ability to earn
community service hours by taking part in the Walk for Life event and helping out at a carnival
for two years during the spring and fall where she earned 80 hours of community service hours.
Furthermore, Emily enjoys to travel and being outdoors.
Emily has a passion to succeed in anything she sets her mind and has the ability to overcome any
obstacle that comes her way. Emily plans to attend a community college for two years and then
transfer to San Francisco State University to pursue a career as a Forensic Pathologist. Lastly,
Emily will be the third in her family to attend college and I have no doubt that she will be
successful in anything she sets her mind to do. Moreover, I recommend Emily for any endeavor
she chooses to pursue in her life.
Sincerely,
Joel Gonzalez
