Welcome to the world of Elijah McCalister, a 19 year old homeless kid who exiled himself into

the woods but comes back to society. In this scene, he stumbles upon a small ministry called
Word of Life in a town where he used to go to school in- Vacaville California.

Scene 1: *as Elijah walks out of the woods into Lagoon Valley Park, he stumbles upon an
small bible on a bench below some trees. he is rather curious and eager to pick it up. he
holds it close, rubs off the rain and safely puts it in his coat pocket.

*As Elijah is in the Word of Life Ministry building,

Elijah: *As Elijah remember himself saying these words to the cops when he got taken in,
he remembers saying* I couldn’t just sit by and do nothing!! He was hurting her!!

Officer Davis: Son, you wanna be an cop or not?

Elijah: Yes, I do.

Officer: Then you must stop lashing out every single time you see injustice, son, you gotta
control it all. Control your anger, ok!!

Elijah: *...it is dead silent as Elijah says nothing*

Officer Davis: IS THAT CLEAR CODET!!!

Elijah: YES SIR!!
