When I was 13 years old, I began to study English. At the very beginning it

was difficult to me. First, I used to hate English, I did not like it; because of my

elementary and high school teachers. They were rude and they did not explain

well. I was lost my first day of class because many people could understand what

teacher was saying. I felt bad, and I did not want to continue.

Second, my schedule was very hard. I finished my classes at 1 pm, and I had to go

home and eat, then I went to the bus station that was 15 minutes from home. Even

sometimes I did not have lunch. I had to be at 2 o’clock in Jinotepe that is 15

minutes from Diriamba. But little by little I had to get used to my teachers and

schedules. At the end I finished loving English, I could learn a lot. That is why I can

say that “Slow and steady win the race”.
