In the early days of its establishment, UGM had only 6 Faculties, and at this moment there are 18 Faculties, 1 Graduate
School, and 1 Vocational School.
Most Faculties in UGM are composed of several departments and study programs. The Faculty of Engineering wasis
one of the six fFaculties onat the early establishmented inon 1946, formerly known as Bandoeng Engineering College
(STT Bandoeng), where there are three courses, namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, and
Chemical Engineering sections.
The activities of UGM are outlined in the form of Tri Dharma College, consist of Education and Teaching, Research, and
Community Service.
