TASK :

1. STUDY THE ARTICLES ON “APPERCEPTION” AND SEE THE EXAMPLES OF GIVING


APPERCEPTION. FIND OTHER SOURCES ON THE INTERNET.

2. HOW DOES THE TEACHER PREPARE APPERCEPTION FOR THE STUDENTS TO ‘TUNE
IN’ TO THE LEARNING PROCESS HE/SHE IS GOING TO TEACH?

a. INDICATOR: STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO INTRODUCE SOMEONE TO OTHERS.

TO MAKE THE STUDENTS TUNE IN TO THE LEARNING PROCESS OF INTRODUCING


SOMEONE TO OTHERS, THE TEACHER MAY ASK A STUDENT TO INTRODUCE
HIS/HER CLASSMATE WHO IS SITTING NEXT TO HIM/HER AS AN APPERCEPTION.
GIVE THE STUDENTS SCAFFOLDING (NOT SPOONFEEDING) MOVES.

b. INDICATOR: STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO WRITE DESCRIPTIVE TEXT.

TO MAKE THE STUDENTS INTERESTED IN JOINING THE TEACHING AND LEARNING


PROCESS OF WRITING A DESCRIPTIVE TEXT, THE TEACHER MAY ASK THE
STUDENTS TO DESCRIBE THE TEACHER HIM/HERSELF (APPEARANCE, HAIR, FACE,
COLOR OF HER DRESS/HIS SHIRT, ETC) AS AN APPERCEPTION. GIVE THE STUDENTS
SCAFFOLDING (NOT SPOONFEEDING) MOVES.

3. GROUP THE STUDENTS OF 4 MEMBERS PER GROUP.

4. EACH GROUP FINDS ONE LEARNING PROCESS (LISTENING, SPEAKING, READING,


WRITING) AND SELECTS AN INDICATOR IN A LESSON PLAN.

5. EACH GROUP DISCUSSES AN APPERCEPTION BASED ON THE INDICATOR SELECTED


AND GIVES EXAMPLE(S).

6. PRESENT THE RESULT (IN GROUP) ON THE NEXT MEETING. EVERY MEMBER OF THE
GROUP HAS TO BE ACTIVE.
