1. Name of the Proposal Procurement of TT table for IOCL residential colony,


Sojat.
2. Brief Description One TT table is present at Community centre of IOCl Sojat
Colony, However present condition of the table is not good
and required replacement. Therefore it is proposed to
procure TT table for IOCL colony, Sojat.
3. Cost Estimate (Details Rs.23, 000 (approx)
attached) (Budgetary quotations enclosed).

4. Justification of the
Proposal
a) Justification in 1. CARE one of core values of IOCL, Rajola is hardship
brief location, very few entertainment and recreational
activities are available. Even nearest theater available at
about 70 KM and restaurant about 40KM.
2. Participation in community sport or recreation provides
an opportunity to develop physical skills and social
connectedness. This can be a life-changing experience
especially for those living in Remote location like Sojat
with limited social networks.
3. Participating in recreational activities helps manage
stress, Increases confidence, Improved Cognitive Skills
etc.
4. Limited outdoor game/ recreational activities are
possible in colony premises like volleyball & badminton.
so they are bound to choose between one of them.
5. This is a way to balance the pressures of work and
family with physical and mental wellbeing.
6. Total no. of employees at Rajola pump station has been
increased after expansion of Rajola pump station. So
additional facilities for recreation are also required.
