Zindagi ki asli udaan abhi baaki hai,

Zindagi ke kai imtehaan, abhi baki hai…

Abhi toh naapi hai muthi bhar zameen humne,

Naapna sara aasmaan abhi baki hai..

Good Morning our respected principal Ma’am, teachers, and my dear students. I guess, we all know
the purpose of our gathering here today. We are here to bid farewell our lovely students of Std 12.
Such handsome young men and beautiful ladies among us today. As the class teacher of Std XII ‘C’,
let me tell you something, very honestly today, you all are very dear to me. I’m going to miss each
and every one of you a lot. From Anisha’s, “Waah, Miss kya padhaye hai aap aaj”, to Sneha’s dance,
forcing others to say, “Lagta hai maata aa gyi hai iske andar”. Even though you will all be gone your
separate ways in some days, some words will still echo in my mind, like, “Gabru, Phool Kumari,
Jaadu,” among many others. Sunita, I will miss you and your Peetha. Neha, I still remember the day
I scolded you for your result, and you said to me, “Miss, hum karke dikhaenge”. I want to say to you,
that I believe in you, that you’ll prove yourself. Remember, only a mother scolds her child.
(Something happy and positive about her). Khushi, your dance on Jhingaat was awesome. And
Jayshree, our very own “Jila Topper”. All these memories that I have spent with you all in the
classroom, on the picnic, during the teacher’s day and Children’s Day are all worth remembering.
And all the student’s from Std XII ‘A’, Riteish, Anand, Manisha, Aman, Ravishree, all of you, do you all
remember when I joined this school, you all were in Std 6 then. And look how much you’ve grown
since then. Actually, all of us have grown together. It’s strange how quickly the time flies.

So, from the 2nd of Marcg, you’re Board Exams are going to start. Hardly ten days left before that. So,
utilise this time to the fullest. Each minute counts hereon. Please keep in mind all the instructions
you’ve been given, and follow them. Some tips, I’d like to give you all.

 Don’t use social media excessively. And specially during these 30 days at least, if possible,
deactivate you’re accounts.
 Don’t ask you friends, “How many chapters have they completed?” or “How much of the
syllabus have they covered?” It’ll lead to pressure build up and tension. Prepare according to
yourself.
 Time Management is crucial in these days. It’s not important how long you study, but it’s
important how well you study. Don’t spend time on unnecessary topics or things and plan
accordingly.
 Make a plan. Follow it. And use the gap in between tests to maximise your preparation.
Suppose there is a 3 day gap before the next exam and the next exam is easy for you. Then
you can do some other subject the first day, and complete the exam subject in the next 2
days. Again, the preparation method will depend on you and your plan.
 Not only do you need to give proper time to study but give time to your health also. Keep a
healthy, and light diet. Eating heavy things before exams will lead to drowsiness and
sleepiness.
 Sleep at least 8 hours every day. It will keep you fresh and rejuvenated all day, on
preparation days and exam days and make you more efficient. Studying 8 hours with a fresh
mind is better than studying 12 hours with a tired mind.
 Sharpen the Saw: No use trying to cut the tree with a blunt and worn out axe. Take time to
sharpen it. I hope you understand. Work smart, not hard.

Finally, I would like to say that, as all of you know last year we had a hundred percent result from
our outgoing batch with 89.2% being the highest in commerce and 82.3 being the highest in science.
We expect the same from you all. Maintain the benchmark they’ve set last year and try to surpass it
this year. All the very best to all of you. Give your best. And make AIWC AOE, your parents and most
importantly, yourself proud.
