Driver requirements for Cars & Vans

Drivers for most cars and vans need to be aged between 21 & 75 years old and must have
been driving for a minimum of 2 years

For drivers over 25 years old we can accept up to 8 penalty points – however this does
depend on the conviction codes so please check with us before hand. For drivers aged
between 21 & 25years old the insurance criteria is much stricter, so please call us before
the hire to check driving experience, convictions and or accidents

For drivers under 25years old we can only hire up to a 1.4L engine

We include 2 x drivers in the hire charge however a 3rd driver would be chargeable

**DO NOT PERMIT ANYONE TO DRIVE WHO HASN’T BEEN APPROVED BY US****

Unlimited mileage & 24hr access for returns

Insurance excess is £500 for over 25yr olds £750 for under 25yr olds. Contents are not
insured. Please note that we cannot insure certain professions including couriers

Deposits required - £100 for all hirers / £150 for under 25year olds

**Drivers are responsible for ALL overhead damage**

On the day of collection the driver/s will need to bring

1. Driving Licence
2. National insurance number or DVLA code
3. Proof of current address which is posted and dated in the last 3 months (junk mail,
letter, statement, bill etc)
4. Payment on card only

For non UK residents we would require 1. Driving licence and 2. Proof of address for
the UK – either hotel booking confirmation or proof of address dated in the last
3months for a relative you may be staying with
