call to adventure
 “Eugene, you must let the children come and visit us in
Nsukka… we don’t have a mansion, but at least they can get to
know their cousins (97).” A few days later Eugene makes the
decision, “ My driver Kevin will take them, tomorrow is too
soon. The day after… You will leave tomorrow, so go and pack
your things… (107)” This is a good example for Call of
Adventure because it show’s when Aunty Ifeoma ask her
brother for the kids to spend time away from home to try and
get to know their cousins better. She uses this as the excuse
that something is missing in their life, other than their
freedom. It also shows that Kamibili doesn’t even have a
chance to contribute to this decision.

The tone in this message was very strong. Aunty Ifeoma ask
Eugene right away for permission to spend more time with the
kids, already knowing that this might not happen. Pushing on
with reasons that seem believable helps her achieve this.

“ ‘Do you want to go to Nsukka?’ I asked…

Even though Kambili is excited go on a
small journey it also makes her rethink
that she’s never been away from what she
already knows.

and Jaja probably don’t know how to fix the situation.

before proceeding on his mission to
Pandora. Since they were twins and they
had the same genomes, the officials that
ran the Avatar Program asked Jake if he
could replace Tommy’s Avatar on the
mission. Jake agrees to accept the
assignment in tribute of his brother. The
scene undoubtedly expresses call to
adventure, because Jake leaves his normal
life to travel to the unknown of the world of
Avatars. Jake mentions in a quote that he
accepts the expedition with his pride of
being a past paraplegic marine.The call to

sentence compares rain falling from the sky, and someone
physically peeing on someone. I know that this quote has a
metaphor in it, because a metaphor is a figure of speech in
which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to
which it is not literally applicable, and Grace carries out

In Avatar, Jake does not show a refusal
