CITY RESOLUTION NO. 2009-39

A RESOLUTION EXTENDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN

THE AMOUNT OF TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS
(P 2,500.00) TO THE COUNCIL OF BRGY. 2-SAMPAGUITA,
THIS CITY THRU HON. CAROLYN C. MCLAREN, PUNONG
BARANGAY TO HELP DEFRAY EXPENSES FOR THEIR LAKBAY
ARAL IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE
LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUENCY SUPPORT PROGRAM (LCSP)
APPROPRIATION OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OFFICE,
THIS CITY.

WHEREAS, presented for consideration is the letter dated May 25,

2009 from the Council of Barangay 2-Sampaguita, this City asking
financial assistance to help defray expenses for their Lakbay Aral in
Cagayan de Oro City on July 6, 2009;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Cabadbaran has allocated

funds cum Legislative Constituency Support Program (LCSP) under the
Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod intended to support the needs of the
constituents and the barangays;

WHEREAS, having found the request worthy of support, the August

Body compassionately agreed to pledge the amount of Two Thousand Five
Hundred Pesos ( P 2,500.00) chargeable against the Legislative Constituency
Support Program appropriation.

NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the 1st Sangguniang Panlungsod, in its 82 nd
Regular Session assembled, to extend financial assistance in the amount
of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 2,500.00) to the Council of
Brgy. 2-Sampaguita, this City thru Hon. Carolyn C. Mclaren, Punong
Barangay to help defray expenses for their Lakbay Aral in Cagayan de
Oro City chargeable against the Legislative Constituency Support Program
(LCSP) in the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, this City.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to provide copies of this Resolution to

the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer and to the
Council of Barangay 2-Sampaguita thru Hon. Carolyn C. Mclaren, Punong
Barangay, all of this City, for information and guidance.
