I live in a small house. It has five rooms: there are two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom,
and a kitchen. Indeed, it is a small house; bu I love it very much.
When the door is open, I can see the living room. There is only a set of three sofas, nothing
else. I prefer reading a novel in this room.
My bedroom is in the left of the living room. There is a night table next to the bed, a radio
tape and a computer. When I am tired of reading school books, I usually play online games,
chat with my friends through Facebook and so on.
Next to my bedroom is my parents’s. I love to sleep with my mom. The bed is large and
comfortable. Besides, we can watch TV while we are laying on the bed. At times when my
father works out of town, I sleep with my mom.
The last is the kitchen. I have everything I need when I get hungry. My mother kees snacks,
fruit, and vegetable in the refrigerator. The smell of cakes or soups fills the whole house my
mother cooks.

TULIP
Tulips grew from 10 to 70 centimeters tall. They can even grow in the cold and snowy
winter. They have 2 to 6 leaves. Some species can have up to 12 leaves. The stems have no
leaves to a few leaves, with large species having some leaves and smaller species have one.
Typically species have one flower per stem but a few species have up to four flowers. The
colourful and attractive cup shaped flowers typically have three petals and three sepals which
are mostly termed as tepals because they are nearly identical.
Although tulips are associated with Netherlands, commercial cultivation of the flower began
in the Otooman Empire. The word tulip is derived from Persian language dulband (turban).
Tulips are indigenous to mountainous areas with temperate climates. They grow well in
climates with long cool springs and early summers, but are often grown as spring blooming
annual plantings in warmer areas of the world. The bulbs are usually planted in late summer
and fall, normally from 10 to 20 cm deep, depending on the type planted, in well-drained
soils. In parts of the world that do not have long cool spring and early summers, the bulbs are
planted and force the plants to produce one large bulb each year instead of many smaller non
blooming ones. This can extend the usefulness of the plants in warmer areas a few years.
