Career Pathway

My plans for the future are quite simple, like probably every other student. I plan to

obtain good grades so that I can have a good GPA and I could be eligible for schools that would

be good for the major I want to go into. I know that my GPA is not the only thing that matters; I

am aware that colleges are also looking at how involved students are not only in school but also

outside of it. So I plan on getting more involved and to be more open to opportunities I might get

in the future. I plan on volunteering more and joining more clubs that have to do with the major I

am interested in or around that area. The major I am currently interested in is psychology,

specifically child psychology. I want to be able to help out kids with any developmental issues

they may have. I also want to help kids who may have social, emotional, or mental problems. So

if I have the right qualifications, I am going to apply to a college that provides an education for

psychology and that rightly fits for me. Then I will strive for a bachelor’s degree in that major

while trying to take up internships so I can enter the workforce with experience. So I plan to first

enter a good college through my efforts in high school. Then, from there, let destiny determine

what happens.
