A. Describe the activity and the goal of the activity. [3 sentences or more]

For this class in the beginning of the year we were introduced a writing assignment that would take the two full
semesters in 11th grade to complete. The goal of the assignment was to find something we are passion about
and based on that we had to write a three part paper: exposition, summary and analysis, and proposal. The
thing we were passion about had to be something in which we could try to make a difference. I wrote about
Poverty, this topic is something that is often seen around but merely nothing is done about it. So I chose to
write about this and put up a solution. It was a very difficult paper to write since much thought, research, and
knowledge had to be put forth.

B. How does the activity demonstrate your skills as an effective communicator, a critical thinker or demonstrate
your character development?

This assignment demonstrated my skills as a critical thinker in many ways. In one way it is that I looked at
different datas, problems, and in general research that had helped me develop thoughts. Then with everything
I had gathered I just deeply pondered about what I wanted to put into my paper and what I wanted others to
read. So this put me to evaluate a lot about what was my purpose for this paper.

C. What could you do next to improve your abilities in the Student Learning Outcomes for this specific artifact?
OR How will you use this skill in the future? [5 sentences or more]

I could use this skill in the future many other types of assignments, projects, papers, debates, etc. There is
many places I could apply this skill especially in the workplace. That is because everyone uses this skill
anytime when making decisions or brainstorming. We also use this skill when observing like in museums when
we look at art we always wonder and try to figure out things and we give our moral judgement. So this skill is
used by me now and in the future it will definitely.
