CHRISTIAN LIVING (INS AND OUTS)

*Christian must have goal, purpose and accomplishments.

Philippians 2:12-13

1. There is a purpose to ACHIEVE (God's plan for our lives)

We read it. We agree with it. But how do we go about practicing it?

*Christian life is not a series of ups and downs. But it is rather a process of ins and outs. God works in
and we work out.
2. There is power to RECIEVE

Philippians 2:13

A. God has a special purpose for each man to fulfill.

Philippians 1:27 (Ex. Moses)

*Ito ang katotohanan at tandaan po natin ito.

1. The energy of the flesh (Romans 7:5)

2. The energy of the devil (Eph. 2:2) are also at work

3 TOOLS

1. The word of God (1Thes 2:13)

God's devine energy is released in our lives through His inspired word.

*But we have responsibility

A. We must appreciate the word. If we do nit appreciate the word of God, then God's power cannot
energize our lives.

B. We must appropriate-recieve it.

We do not just read, hear and study instead we need to recieve and welcome it and make it a part of
our inner being.

C. Must Apply the Word of God

It works only to those who believe. If we trust in the word of God and Act on it, then God's power is
released in our lives.

11. Prayer

If we want God's power working on us, we must spend daily with the word of God but we must also
pray. (Eph. 3:20)

III. Suffering
