The Japan – Sweden Society of Kansai (JSSK)

Hanami (Cherry-Blossom Viewing) Party

Dear members of the JSSK.

It seems the cold will not let up for a while, but I hope this letter finds all the members of
the Japan – Sweden Society of Kansai (JSSK) well.
Recently, an exhibition presenting Swedish illustrated books and toys was held in the
Hyogo International Association (HIA), in HAT Kobe (Kobe Central Ward). Entitled “Discover
Sweden”, this exhibition was a great success with lots of visitors, including mothers and their
children (for more details, please read the attached article).
We would like to thank Ms. Cecilia SAITO, who planned this exhibition, and all the
members who volunteered to help us.

Now, we are organizing our annual Hanami Party.
