ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

RATIONALE
Consistent with its role to take the lead in promoting and upholding

social work education that is transformative and responsive NASWEI members meet

every two years for a convention to keep the member schools and practitioners abreast

of the current issues and challenges confronting the profession locally, regionally and

globally. The 48th NASWEI Biennial Convention was held last November 14-16, 2018 at

Sison’s Auditorium, Lingayen, Pangasinan. A registration fee of Php 5500 will be collected

from the participants while Php 4500 from JSWAP members inclusive for kits, meals and

snacks.

The over-all objective was to consolidate diverse perspectives on the

different issues and challenges towards the development of a global standards in social

work education and practice. A separate session at Sison’s Auditorium Training Center,

Lingayen, Pangasinan was reserved for Junior Social Work Association of the Philippines

(JSWAP) officers and members to focus on the issues and challenges confronting the

organization. The JSWAP conducted an orientation and presentations of student

research paper. Workshop on the Constitution and By Laws and action planning was also

discussed on the student led activity facilitated by assigned NASWEI Board of Directors.
