Final Project Timeline and Rubric

Project Summary: I am researching antimicrobial resistance. Mainly, I am focusing on the

knowledge, attitudes, and practices of healthcare professionals in the United States regarding

antimicrobial resistance. This includes prescription, general cleanliness, and handwashing. I

intend to share the information I gain about the gap between knowledge and practices of

healthcare professionals with healthcare professionals and medical students.

Data Collection: Conduct a knowledge, attitudes, practices survey on healthcare professionals

using a questionnaire. Also, I am conducting a similar survey on the general public.

Goals:

- Tuesday, May 21: Elevate project proposal to prepare it for my electronic portfolio.

- Tuesday, May 21: Send out new questionnaire through email and Clarksville Happenings

- Friday, May 24: Turn in final paper (may need extension since new survey hasn’t been

approved by advisor yet)

- Friday, May 31: Set up day to present at Washington DC VA Med Center

- Sunday, June 2: Thank you letter to advisor

- Thursday, June 6: Final abstract and project proposal published on website
