You, My Be

by Lawrence Bullanday (2016)

My love for you is steel-strong

An impetus that bolstered me along
Grief, solitary, desolation, I abhor
Your love for me is my succor.

A feeling of such to preclude

Because you are all my solicitude
You are the very reason for my being
You know, without you I am nothing.

Downtrodden I am without your kiss

When I’m with you I’m in bliss
Every moment that we are together
That’s when I feel it’s like forever.
