Greetings of peace and joy.

I interviewed on November 29, 2018 and am writing this letter to convey my purpose in
applying the position of Administrative Officer. First and foremost, my main purpose is
to reiterate that BIR is my top choice since I really don’t have any plan to pursue my
teaching craft.

BIR employees are renowned on giving ample services to the taxpayers. I believe, I
have what it takes to be one of the BIR’s best employees. I had been working for two
years as an Assistant Branch Manager at Palawan Pawnshop- Davao. When the
manager is on leave, I used to take charge of all the responsibilities that he has
supposed to. It richly taught me become an optimistic person even in the midst of a
chaos situation for I believe that being hopeless has nothing to do with the problem but
it will just worsen the situation rather. Recently, I become a Substitute English Teacher
at Tambis National High School, Tambis, Barobo, Surigao del Sur which significantly
contribute to my communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational
competencies. I’ve also become the Graduation Rites Guest Speaker of Anahao Bag-o
Elementary School last March. And talking about my involvement in the community, I
was once elected as the President of the Catholic Youth Organization. I believe that
these abilities are something that you are looking for.

Out of my eagerness to be part of your agency, I enrolled in Master in Public

Administration (MPA) at Surigao del Sur State University – Main Campus instead of
taking up the educational units.

I am deeply interested to be part of your department and I hope you would give me the
opportunity to work with you.
